The construction costs presented for fit out projects are becoming more defined as the whole sector has become a free standing construction specialty. The costs and specifications presented through all countries are split into various levels and systems, a major factor in the cost provisions of fit outs, which often implies an upgrade of standards and equipment.   There is a great deal of commonality throughout Europe and the whole of the Alliance’s experience and the figures presented reflect their local knowledge and expertise. The increase of multinational companies operating across all of Europe can require a standard design and specification regardless of national boundaries. A good example being Apple Inc. who are rolling out a standard shop design in all countries in which they operate. The experience of many of the affiliates in this sector makes a huge knowledge base available to all members of the Alliance to enhance the professional expertise they can offer their clients.
